Interstate 71 lane and short-term full closures this week (Mar 20 - Mar 25)

Warren County (Friday, March 18, 2016) – Bridge work requires the following lane and short-term full closures on Interstate 71 at the Socialville-Fosters Road bridge next week.

Single lane closures on north and southbound I-71 beginning at 8 p.m. each night, Sunday, March 20 through Friday, March 25, followed by double lane closures at 11 p.m., with all lanes reopening by 7 a.m. the following day.

In addition, various short-term (15 minute) full closures on north and southbound I-71 beginning at 12:01 a.m. Monday, March 21, with all lanes reopening at 5 a.m. Law enforcement officers will maintain traffic.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane and full closures.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
