Fields-Ertel Road Widening Project Community Update Meeting
Later this month, representatives for both Warren and Hamilton counties will be on hand to provide an update on the project to widen Fields-Ertel Road between Snider Road and Wilkens Boulevard. Local professionals who specialize in right of way and property owner negotiations also will be present at the meeting to provide information and answer questions about that process. The meeting information is as follows:
FIELDS-ERTEL ROAD WIDENING PROJECT
COMMUNITY UPDATE MEETING
Wednesday, June 23, 2021
5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Deerfield Township Administration Building
4900 Parkway Drive, Suite 150
Deerfield Township, OH 45040
The meeting will be held in an open house style format; area residents can stop by at any time during the meeting to view project exhibits and talk with project representatives. No formal presentations will be given.
As a reminder, the Fields-Ertel Widening Project will widen Fields-Ertel Road between Snider Road and Wilkens Boulevard from two to five lanes. Two lanes will be built in each direction, along with a center turn lane. In addition, intersection improvements will be made at Fields-Ertel Road and Snider Road, as well as at Fields-Ertel Road and Wilkens Boulevard. Curb, gutter, and stormsewer improvements will be made, and a sidewalk will be built along the north side of the project.
The improvements will adjust the roadway alignment, support better connectivity and travel times, and make this section of the road safer for those who travel through this busy area.
The Warren County Engineers Office and the Hamilton County Engineers Office, in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 8, are working together on this project that will improve safety for those who travel through southwest Warren County and northeast Hamilton County.
For any comments, concerns, or questions about the project, please contact Dan Corey at (513) 695-7725.
The Warren County Engineer's Office appreciates the opportunity to serve the residents of Warren and Hamilton counties and look forward to providing better connections that improve safety and travel in the community.
