Work Session

January 7, 2010

Fiscal Officer John Wahle called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Trustees Corey, Patterson and Romano was present. Also present was Interim Administrator Bill Becker and Law Director Tom Swope.

Deerfield United Methodist Church Pastor Heather Webster gave the opening prayer 

Trustee Patterson led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Election of Board Officers

John Wahle asked for a nomination for Board of Trustee President and Vice-President.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Patterson to nominate Chris Romano as President and Pete Patterson as Vice President of the Deerfield Township Board of Trustees. Motion carried unanimously.

Administration

The Board and staff discussed township owned properties.

Executive Session

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Patterson to enter executive session to discuss disposition of real estate. Motion carried unanimously.
