Work Session

May 22, 2008

Trustee Corey called the meeting to order at 5:38 p.m. Trustee Patterson was present. Also present was Peggy Monjar, acting Administrator, Tom Swope, Law Director and John Wahle, Fiscal Officer. Trustee Romano was absent with prior notice.

Trustee Patterson led the Pledge of Allegiance.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Patterson to have Peggy Monjar take the minutes. Motion carried.

Heritage Pointe PUD

Lois McKnight, Community Development Director, introduced Louis Guttman and Glenn Grehm, representatives from Hills Properties. Mr. Guttman and Mr. Grehm spoke about the Hertiage Pointe PUD and a discussion followed.

King Mansion and Carriage House

Joel Smiddy, Parks and Recreation Director, introduced Bruce Goetzman from the office of Preservation Architecture Services Team (P.A.S.T.) who worked as sub-consultants with Sullebarger Associates. Mr. Goetzman presented an estimated cost of the project. A discussion followed.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Patterson to take a five minute break. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Patterson to return to regular session. Motion carried.

2008 State of the Township

Fran Klatte, Public Relations Director, presented a proposal for a State of the Township event in 2008. A discussion followed.

Warrants and Payments

John Wahle presented the following agenda item.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Patterson to approve Warrants #52722 through 52725. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Patterson to adjourn at 7:09 p.m.
