 Work Session                                 

Trustee Corey called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Trustee Romano was present. Also present were Dan Evers, Administrator, Tom Swope, Law Director and John Wahle, Fiscal Officer. Trustee Patterson was absent.

Executive Session

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to enter executive session. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to return to regular session. Motion carried.

Purchase Orders

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to approve Purchase Orders #08-11628, 11606 and 11607. Motion carried.

Personnel-New Hire-Fiscal Office

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to approve the hiring of Jim Ross as Project Accounting Clerk effective November 4, 2008 at a hourly rate of $19.00 contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screen. Motion carried.

Fire Department Physicals

A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Corey to approve the request to contract with Public Safety Health and Wellness to perform the 2008 firefighter physicals at a cost of $28,000.00. Motion carried.

Fire Department Staffing Plan

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to approve the Fire Department staffing plan as presented subject to a necessary modification in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and verification by Fiscal Officer John Wahle on availability of suitable funds. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to enter executive session. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to return to regular session. Motion carried.
