Special Meeting

Trustee Corey called the meeting together at 9:00 a.m. Trustee Romano was present. Trustee Speidel was absent with prior notice. Also present were Kristin Spiekerman, the Fiscal Officer, Dan Evers, Administrator and Tom Swope, Law Director.

Trustee Romano led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Fiscal Officer – Kristin Spiekerman

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to approve Purchase Orders 10827 through 10831. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to approve Warrants #50406 through 50494. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to approve Resolution 2007-35 A Resolution Directing Payment of Township Expenses, Declaring an Emergency and Dispensing with the Second Reading. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Romano and second by Trustee Corey to authorize the Fiscal Officer to pay Kings Local School District in the amount of $191,383 from the appropriate fund as determined by the Fiscal Officer representative of the first half 2007 TIF reimbursement. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to authorize the Fiscal Officer to pay the debt service payments due for Deerfield Township Series 2004 Bonds in the amount of $13,821.25 and for Deerfield Township Road Improvement Special Assessment Bonds, Series 2005 in the amount of $11,200. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to authorize the Fiscal Officer to enter into an agreement with Plattenburg and Associates for accounting services relative to the TIF Financing Program and the cash report. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to authorize the Fiscal Officer to enter into an agreement with Plattenburg and Associates for accounting services relative to the Kingswood Golf Center Sales Tax Filings. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to authorize the Fiscal Officer to pay the following TIF payments from the General Reserve Fund: 1) The Bank of New York in the amount of $750 for 2003-A Administrative Fees. 2) The Bank of New York in the amount of $750 for 2003-B Administrative Fees. 3) Seasongood and Mayer in the amount of $1,081.25 for re-marketing fees for the 2003-A TIF. Motion carried.

A motion by Trustee Corey and second by Trustee Romano to adjourn the meeting at 9:15 a.m.
