the Township receives from residents.

- When do I need to apply for a zoning permit?
Residents must apply for a
zoning permit when building a new addition, adding a detached garage, installing
a pool, adding a deck, or building a shed. Please go to "Zoning & Planning" for more information, or, you may call
our Code Enforcement Officer at 513.701.6958 ext 1117, to inquire.
- Is there an income tax in Deerfield Township?
Deerfield Township does not have an income tax. This
is one of the many advantages in residing here! However, you may want to check
with the city where you work to ensure that they do not have an income tax that
you must pay since your place of employment is located there.
- Who do I call to report a pothole?
Some roads in the Township are maintained by Warren County, whereas other
roads are maintained by the Township. Please feel free to contact the Public Works
Director at 513.701.6958 ext. 1125 to report a pot hole and he can report the
problem to the correct party.
- How do I obtain a map of all the walking trails in the area?
We do have a Township map
that indicates walking and bicycle trails. These maps are free and can be picked
up here at the Township Office located at 4900 Parkway Drive Suite 150 (off
Mason-Montgomery
Road). Please feel free to email or call at 513.701.6958 should you have any other
questions.
- Is brush pickup available any time of the year?
The Township collects brush and leaves
during the last full week of every month, Monday through Friday. During those dates,
crews circulate throughout the Township picking up
bagged leaves and brush placed at the curb. All streets are
serviced just as soon as possible. Please do not hesitate to call the Township
from 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. at 513.701.6958.
- What is the schedule for televised meetings of the Trustees?
All Deerfield Township Trustee meetings, zoning commission meetings and work sessions are broadcast
through the WKRC Local 12 website, CincyScape.com.
For those residents who have cable, see the above
meetings on CinCW on Sundays at 7 a.m., on Time Warner Cable Channel 20, or on
Direct TV Channel 25.
- Who is responsible for the maintenance of my street?
Some roads in the Township are maintained by us, others by
ODOT, and some by Warren County.
