After the year long process working with the Citizen’s Planning Forum and Board of Trustees, a Draft of the Deerfield Township Comprehensive Plan was reviewed at an Open House held on August 21, 2008.

A copy of the information presented at the open house is provided to allow those of you who were unable to attend an opportunity to review and submit your comments through Friday, August 29^th.

The Deerfield Township Zoning Commission has held Two Public Meetings to Review the Proposed New Business Transitional District (B-TR):

• The first was at a Work Session on Monday, April 7, 2008.

• The second took place as part of the Zoning Commission’s regularly-scheduled meeting on Monday, April 14, 2008.

The Deerfield Township Zoning Commission planned  two public meeting to review the proposed new Residential Transitional District (R-TR).

• The first was at  a work session on Monday, May 5, 2008. 

• The second took place as part of the Zoning Commission’s regularly-scheduled meeting on Monday, May 12, 2008.

Deerfield Township held a Public Hearing on the Residential Transitional (R-TR)  District Map/Text Amendments at a Special Meeting on Tuesday, July 8, 2008.

The Board of Trustees held the First Reading on the Residential Transitional (R-TR)  District Map/Text Amendments at their regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2008.
