The mission of all members of the WARREN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE is to be responsive to, and protect, the constitutional rights of each member of the community
WE SERVE
by affirmatively promoting a climate of safety and security among all persons within
OUR JURISDICTION.

Deerfield Township contracts with the Warren County Sheriff's Office to provide protection for all of our residents.

The Patrol Division of the Deerfield Township Post is broken down into three shifts (day, evening, night).

As the definition of patrol states, these officers are the first line of contact with the public. They are responsible for answering numerous calls for service from the public each day. These calls may be simply a barking dog or a missing child. They answer every type of call you can imagine..

Members of the patrol division are required to be the most well rounded in their knowledge of traffic, criminal, state, and local laws. They are the front line of defense for Deerfield Township and its citizens.

Non-emergency calls to the Deerfield Township Post can be made to (513) 925-2525, or (513) 697-2745. For emergency calls dial 911.

Lieutenant Brian Tinch (right) is Deerfield Township Post Commander. The Township has 22 Deerfield Township patrol deputies; a lieutenant, Lt. Brian Tinch, (right) two detectives, Detective Ron Robertson and Detective Dave Spadafore; three sergeants, Sgt. Doug Wheatley, Sgt. Traci Carr and Sgt. Chris Peters; a D.A.R.E./Crime Prevention Officer, Deputy Don McGlothlin. Deerfield Township also has a Bike Patrol and Scales Program.
