Deerfield Takes Recycling to the Next Level
Dumpsters Now Available at Fire Stations
October 17, 2007 –
Recycling
just got easier in Deerfield Township. We now provide residents with the
opportunity to drop off items to be recycled at dumpsters located at the
Township’s three fire stations located at 8375 Snider Road (Station 56);
3380 Townsley Drive (Station 57); and 2095 Kings Mills Road (Station
58).
The
following is a list of items that CAN be recycled: newspaper,
junk mail, plastics #1, plastics #2, magazines, catalogues, box board,
white and colored paper, computer paper, brown paper bags, cardboard
boxes, steel food cans, aluminum cans, glass bottles and jars.
The
following items CAN NOT be recycled: plastic bags, pizza boxes,
wood, light bulbs, egg cartons, trash, tires, oil containers, chemical
containers, window glass, plastic toys, Styrofoam, flower pots and
batteries.
