CALL TO ORDER
Dan Corey, President of the Deerfield Township Board of Trustees, called to order a joint work session of the Deerfield Township Board of Trustees and the Deerfield Regional Storm Water District Board of Trustees at approximately 5:30 p.m.

NEW BUSINESS
DRSWD and Township representatives discussed the Township Trustees’ “Philosophical Position with Respect to the Operations of the Deerfield Storm Water District Board,” inclusive of the following four points: (1) The DRSWD Board should always utilize a fiscally conservative philosophy in its approach to all issues, e.g., leveraging other resources and entities, such as Warren County, etc., should always occur; (2) The DRSWD Board’s primary objective is addressing NPDES Phase II. This should be evident when considering all resources available to the Board; (3) The DRSWD Board shall not provide funds for the construction phase of private property issues; and (4) The DRSWD Board should communicate with the DT Board of Trustee regularly to eliminate potential redundancies and ensure alignment of purpose and resources, but especially when making decisions that will have significant political or fiscal impact. Walt Daniels motioned to adjourn the DRSWD’s joint work session with the Deerfield Township Board of Trustees, seconded by Ben Yoder, at approximately 8:15 P.M. Vote: All Yes.

The Deerfield Regional Storm Water District Board meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m., unless otherwise notified.
