Refund Policy
Participant requested changes must be made no later than
10 business
days prior to the first class meeting. Refunds are subject to a
$5.00 processing fee and will only be granted when requested no
later than 10 business days prior to the first class meeting. Since
decisions to maintain classes are based on enrollment, no refunds
are granted after the first class meeting. In case of maximum class
enrollment or class cancellation, you will be granted a full check
refund. Please allow 10 business days for processing of all refunds.
Inclement Weather Closings
All programs will follow the Kings Local School District for
inclement weather closings. Make-up sessions for cancelled classes
are not guaranteed and are determined on a class-by-class basis.
Youth 13 Years and Younger
Deerfield Township requires all youth, 13 years and younger, to be
picked up by an authorized adult. Authorized adults must be
indicated on the child’s registration form and a valid photo ID is
required at the time of pick up.
Youth 14 Years and Older
For children 14 years and older, Deerfield Township provides an
optional Release of Responsibility that parents/guardians may sign
that enables their child to leave the program without adult
supervision. Children without a Release of Responsibility signed
will be held for release to an authorized adult. Authorized adults
must be indicated on the child’s registration form and a valid photo
ID is required at the time of pick up.
Youth Medication
Deerfield Township staff is not permitted to administer medication.
If your child needs medication during program hours, staff may hold
the medication until the child asks for it. Staff can not be
responsible for reminding children of medication times or the
administration of any medication – over the counter, prescription,
or otherwise.
Children with Special Needs
Deerfield Township values all children. If your child needs special
assistance during program hours, please speak with us so that we may
work together to determine feasible accommodations and to ensure a
positive experience for your child.
