Fire Inspection and
Investigation
Each shift has an assigned Fire Inspector/Investigator who holds the
rank of Lieutenant and serves the Department and Business Community
as the Deputy Fire Code Official in addition to their normal duties
as a Company Officer. The on-duty Code Official can be reached at

All construction inspections must be scheduled 24 hours in advance
with our Department and the Warren County Building Department
513.925.1290. In addition to construction inspections the Deputy Code
Officials conduct annual inspection of target hazard businesses of
the Township.
All full-time employees of the Department are certified as Fire
Safety Inspectors and conduct annual inspections in all of the
Townships commercial and educational facilities.
Code Enforcement Staff
Battalion Chief Douglas Wehmeyer
- Fire Code Official Battalion Chief Wehmeyer supervises the Code Enforcement
Division.
Lieutenant James Butler
- Lieutenant Butler is the Unit One Inspector and serves as the
Department’s Plans Examiner. He is also responsible for the annual
inspection of all Educational Facilities.
Lieutenant Jason Todd - Lieutenant Todd is the Unit Two Inspector
and serves as the Coordinator of the Departments Inspection
Coordinator. He is also responsible for scheduling all Company
level inspections.
Lieutenant Andy Register - Lieutenant Register is the Unit Three
Inspector and serves as the Department's Company Inspection Reports
and Records Coordinator. He is also responsible for the annual
inspection of all Hotel/Motel Facilities. |
