Administrator - Bill Becker

Bill comes back to Deerfield after serving as interim administrator in 2009. Bill started his career in Middletown, Ohio as a police officer after serving in the U.S. Army. As a police officer, Bill worked his way up the ranks to become Chief of Police. After spending nearly 10 years as Chief, he took on the role of City Manager in Middletown retiring in 2007. After retirement he was elected to Middletown City Council, serving as Vice-Mayor until the end of his term in December of 2011. Upon leaving Deerfield as interim, Bill took on the job of Emergency Services Director for Warren County overseeing the dispatch center and Emergency Services.

In returning to the Township Bill says “In my 30 plus years in the public service, there has never been a more challenging time in government service than today. I am looking forward to leading Deerfield Township through these trying times providing the residents of Deerfield with an effective, cost-efficient government.”
